In Memory of Wes Warn

published in the SNU newsletter July 2012

SNU member Wes Warn passed way June 12, 2012. He and wife RoyLaine were one of the first new members of the SNU after it's reorganization. They saw an ad in a local newspaper for a rally at Pyramid Lake in 2004 and came out to see what we were all about. They have been active members ever since. From the stories we have heard over the years, Wes had an active and varied life. At one time he owned and RV Park in Washington State. He sailed a boat across the Pacific to Hawaii. Roy says he was a social person, always up for adventure and he loved to go dancing. About a week and a half before Wes's death, his boxer Sam died of cancer. Sam was a great dog and Wes's pride and joy. Our deepest sympathies go to Roylaine in this difficult time. She has always said the SNU is like family and we have let her know her family is there for her.
